Repair or manufacture

Two buying paths, one bearing range.

Repair workshops identify bearings by shaft position and check them against the full overhaul list; equipment manufacturers check geometry against approved specifications and separate prototype quantities from production runs. Both are quoted from the same Koyo / JTEKT range.

Heavy-duty applications

Heavy conveyor gearboxes: send the load data with the bearing position.

For spherical and large roller bearings on heavily loaded shafts, the bearing position, existing marking and the load rating your design calls for are quoted together, so the supplied bearing matches your own calculation.

  • Gearbox model and shaft position: which shaft, which side, and how many bearings per position.

  • Required load rating: the value from your calculation or the approved specification, with radial and axial loads noted.

  • Existing Koyo / JTEKT marking: plus drawing number, so execution and cage details are confirmed before the quote.

Send the gearbox model, shaft position, existing marking and required load rating in one message, and the quote is matched to your own load calculation.

Planned replacement projects

Submit the whole project scope in one list.

Planned equipment replacement and maintenance projects are quoted as one itemised bearing list covering every machine, shaft position and quantity, instead of bearing-by-bearing orders that miss lines.

Maintenance crew replacing bearings on an industrial gear drive during a planned shutdown
  1. 01

List every machine and shaft position

Group bearings by gearbox or machine model, then by input, intermediate and output shaft, so each line has a clear location.

  2. 02

Give the per-unit quantity and number of units

Per-unit quantity and order total stay on separate columns, which removes the most common cause of under- or over-ordering.

  3. 03

Add Koyo / JTEKT references and drawing numbers

Old Koyo marks and current JTEKT numbers can sit side by side. Where a marking is worn, attach a clear photo and note what still needs confirming.

  4. 04

    State destination and required date

Destination country, postcode and the shutdown date let the quote cover lead time, shipping method and the shipping documents the order needs.

Supporting services

What comes with every industry quote

Every request to Machinery Company includes part identification, an itemised whole-unit list, clearly marked substitutes and a product document check at quote stage.

  • Part identification

Old Koyo marks matched to current JTEKT numbers; incomplete or worn markings checked from photos and dimensions.

  • Itemised whole-unit list

The full bearing set for a gearbox or machine, quoted line by line with per-unit and total quantities.

  • Substitutes marked separately

Any alternative reference is listed on its own line, and no technical change goes ahead without buyer approval.

  • Product documents at quote stage

The product and shipping documents your order and customs clearance need are agreed in the written quote.

FAQ

Koyo / JTEKT bearings by industry: common questions

How should I submit old Koyo marks and current JTEKT numbers?

Send both on the same line. List the Koyo marking from the bill of materials next to the JTEKT number from your purchasing records, with the shaft position. If a marking is incomplete, add a clear photo and note what still needs confirming.

Can you quote both per-unit quantity and total order quantity?

Yes. Give the quantity per gearbox or machine and the number of units, and the quote shows both per-unit and order totals for each reference. Prototype and batch production quantities can be quoted on separate lines.

My industry is not listed. Can you still supply bearings?

Yes. Application-specific bearings are supplied from drawings or equipment records. Send the equipment model, drawing number and the existing Koyo / JTEKT marking.

What happens if a substitute bearing is proposed?

It is marked separately on the quote and is only supplied after you approve it. The original reference stays on the list, so you can compare both before ordering.
